Sunset and Night Scenery
Three things I always want to capture when traveling are sunsets, sunrise, and night scenery. Unfortunately, cloudy condition did not produce the sunset I had hope and rain in the morning ruled out sunrise. But I did capture nice night scenery.
Miao People
The Miao people are great observers of etiquette. They are also very hospitable and pay respect to their guests. When people visit their homes, families will often kill a chicken to provide poultry for their guests to eat. They also try their best to entertain guests.
Miao Courtship Ritual Show
Mass courting occasions sometimes take place during holidays, when young women from a host village gather to sing antiphonal love songs with young men from neighboring villages. If a couple is attracted to each other, they exchange love tokens. But they must still win the approval of their parents before they can marry.
