Buyi Ethnic Minority

The Buyi people were the aboriginal dwellers on the southeast Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. They are concentrated in the southeastern part of Guizhou with some scattered in Yunnan and Guangxi.

Millennium Buyi People

It was interesting to meet some of the Buyis. Very nice people (most people in China are nice).

Buyi Millennium Village

One of the unique aspects of the Buyis in this area is that their houses are mainly constructed of stone and slate roofs. If life gives you slate, make roofs!
